💒 Membership & Baptism – Becoming Part of the Family of Faith
At Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, we believe that joining the body of Christ is a sacred and life-changing step. Whether God is leading you to salvation, baptism, or membership, we rejoice with you and walk beside you in faith.
✝️ Membership
Becoming a member of Antioch means more than adding your name to a list—it means becoming part of a loving, Christ-centered family. Membership is open to those who:
- Profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- Join by Christian experience, letter, or Candidate for Baptism
- Commit to growing in faith, serving in ministry, and walking in fellowship with the body of believers
💧 Baptism
We believe in believer’s baptism by full immersion, as a public declaration of one’s faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism symbolizes:
- New life in Christ
- The washing away of sin
- A commitment to walk in obedience and discipleship
Baptism services are scheduled regularly and are preceded by a time of instruction and preparation to ensure each candidate understands the meaning and joy of this step.
